Description
Introduction to professional communications. This course emphasizes correct mechanics, grammar, and sentence construction. Students will be assisted with developing strategies for writing and speaking collaboratively. Skills emphasis will be placed on a variety of documents, including definition, instruction, summary, job application portfolio, and a formal research report with an accompanying oral presentation. Prerequisite: ENGL 098 or qualifying placement score.
