Description

Provides an introduction to the science and practice of medical
imaging. Topics are designed to provide the student with an
overview of the role of a technologist, the basic concepts of
patient information management, and the ethical and legal
standards of the profession. In addition, the course provides
information on all aspects of patient care in the medical imaging
environment including patient education and assessment,
pharmacology, and IV contrast screening.
