Driving to Campus This Week
The detour is open to Mitchell Tech. However, you may want to consider taking the Landfill Road, which is one mile south of the detour road. Turn east at the Landfill road and drive one mile. Turn north for two miles. There are potholes on the first mile from the Landfill Road to the detour, but the east/west detour road is nearly full of washboards. If you use the Landfill Road option, you'll be able to see the potholes and around drive around them instead of the constant washboard conditions.
It is possible that the City could be out to grade the roads to make the conditions better, but until that happens, you may consider using the longer way around.
Student Lounge and Fitness Center Closures
The Fitness Center will remain closed until Wednesday, June 26th.
Unfortunately, the Student Lounge will remain closed for a few more days to finish the floor cleaning. A re-open date will be sent out soon.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Please make sure you wear clean shoes in the fitness center!
Mitchell Tech's campus will be closed on the following dates:
Thursday July 4th and Friday July 5th in observance of the 4th of July
Midterms:
Reminder that June 28th is midterms! If you are struggling with coursework, remember that your instructors have office hours in the summer. Please reach out to your instructors if you need help!
